2007 Men’s Delaware Top 20 Rules

Eligibility

This is a USBC sanctioned event; all participants must be USBC sanctioned.
Open to anyone who was in the newspaper Top 20 during the 2006 – 2007 season.
Open to any previous Top 20 member or participant.

Entry Fee

The entry fee will be $100.00 (Prize Fund $69.00, Lineage $24.40, and Expenses $6.60).
All prizes and awards will be returned 100% to the participants.
Entries close May 19, 2007.

Format

All bowlers will bowl 12 games across 24 lanes for qualifying, moving at least one pair after every game.
The top 5 men after 12 games of qualifying will bowl a step ladder final with the 4^th and 5^th seed starting the first match.
If a tie should exist after qualifying for the 5^th and final spot, a 9^th and 10^th frame roll-off will be used to determine the finalist. All other Top 5 ties will be settled by Sunday’s 6 game total pin fall.

Prize Fund

1st place is guaranteed at $1,200.00, regardless of the number of entries. The remaining prize fund will be determined solely based upon entries.
At least 1 in every 6 participants will cash in this year’s event.

Conduct

• No unsportsmanlike conduct (kicking or punching of equipment, foul language, and/or jesters) will be tolerated. One warning will be given. Upon the second infraction, immediate disqualification will result.

Dress Code

• Recommended dress consists of dress slacks and collared shirts. No hats or t-shirts.

Miscellaneous

All other rules are governed by the USBC handbook.
The tournament chair and committee reserve all rights.
