Inductees into the bowling Hall of Fame for the LD U.S.B.C. BA are divided into three distinct categories:
Bowling performance, meritorious service, or service appreciation. Nominations may be submitted for consideration by anyone. A sketch of the nominees background and facts supporting compliance with requirements should be submitted and signed by the individual making the nomination.
Requirements for nomination:
Bowling performance: The individual must have bowled in 10 Lower Delaware Bowling Association tournaments. The individual must have won recognition for his bowling abilities. Examples include: receiving bowling honors, achieving high average, high game or high series as well as any titles in any tournaments -- national, state or local.
Meritorious service: The individual must have distinguished
themselves through outstanding service over a period of 10 years. Examples include: a league officer, a bowler in promotions that created growth and recognition of the game, or service to the bowlers, as an organizer of junior programs through both local or state associations.
Service appreciation: The individual must have distinguished themselves as a lane manager, proprietor, or anyone who has done serviced to bowling in any capacity not covered by bowling performance or meritorious service.
